此炉选用紫砂为胎，形制硕大。器形应从铜器中借鉴而来，炉呈簋式，撇口，束颈，鼓腹下收，承外撇圈足，两侧对称置双狮首为耳，造型威严肃穆。炉身光素无纹，通体施加茶叶沫釉，釉色莹润光亮，包浆浑厚，静谧中透露着古朴之器。
