本品为笔海形，器型端庄，胎质厚重，釉面润泽，通体施秋葵绿釉，器身堆雕龙吐水纹饰，雕工精细，鳞甲纤毫毕现，龙形矫健，威武凶猛。底刻王炳荣作四字篆书款。王炳荣为清代著名瓷雕艺术家，许之衡《饮流斋説瓷》有所记载，“雕瓷巧者有陈国治、王炳荣诸人所作作品，精细中饶有画意。”属名家之作，极具收藏价值。
