The Yue ware bottle vase is of bulbous form with angled shoulder, waisted neck, and evert rim, body carved with expanding wings pattern on the shoulder, above layered lappet bands, glazed in yellowish white color tone, bottom unglazed and marked with two characters.|Song Dynasty period.||Height: 8 in (20.3 cm) Width: 4 3/4 in (12.1 cm)|宋 越窯青釉仰覆蓮紋瓶|瓶盤口，細長頸，溜肩，腹修長，頸肩連接處飾對稱蕉葉紋，圈足。通體施青釉，釉面光潤，細膩純淨。瓶腹每瓜瓣陰線刻蓮花紋為飾，線條婉轉，生動俐落，富有輕重變化。今北京故宮博物院庋藏五代〈嶽州窯青釉蓮瓣盤口瓶〉，與本器瓶腹同樣以蓮花紋瓣為飾，皆是「出淤泥而不染，濯清漣而不妖」之象徵，亦是越窯常見紋樣之一。
