A silver sugar caster, Birmingham, 1937, Adie Brothers Ltd, of baluster form, on a circular foot, 18cm high, weight approx. 5.5oz    Condition Report: Presumably the caster has been impacted by another heavier object: as a result one area of the footrim is bent towards the interior and that side of the body is slightly bent as well (can be felt under touch). This impact doesn't seem to have affected the stability of the caster. A few small dents on the body of the caster: a couple located under the marks on the right, one located on the back of the caster and another small one can be felt on the upper part of the piercing. Light tarnishing to the finial and edges. Marks clearly stamped.
