A Dutch trinket box, bearing 833 Dutch standard mark, maker mark HH, of rectangular form, with repousse decoration of Dutch countryside and pastoral scenes within cartouches to the lid and sides, with foliate decoration, raised on four paw feet, blue velvet lining to the interior, 4.7cm high, 13.4cm long, 6.5cm deep, gross weight approx. 5oz      Condition Report:The box is in overall good condition. The scenes in the vignettes are all visible and there are no dents or nicks. Some scratches to the underside and feet. Some signs of tarnishing to the edges and to the interior of the lid. The lid opens and closes easily but doesn't sit flash. The blue lining is peeling off on two sides and is broken on one side (see photos). Some dirt on the lining. The Dutch hallmark and maker mark HH are stamped on the underside, slightly rubbed off on the edges but visible.
