A group of four Chinese cinnabar lacquer vessels, late Qing dynasty/Republic period,prising: a pair of baluster vases, each 22cm high; and a pair of boxes and covers, each 12.6cm diameter (4) 晚清/民國 剔紅對瓶及蓋盒一對Condition Report: Each vase with small losses of black lacquer to the rims, cracks to the underside, and small losses of lacquer to the footrim, one vase with a section of the foot bent inwards with loss of the red lacquer border at the foot. Each of the boxes with losses to the black lacquer interior and underside, one box with a crack and loss at the rim of the red lacquer cover. All boxes with light surface marks and dirt, consistent with age.
