A set of six Regency mahogany bar back dining chairs, first quarter 19th century, brass inlaid, on sabre front legs, each with ivorine label for Jas Shoolbred & co and each stamped X2230 to back right leg (6)Condition Report: one chair with a repair to the left finial of the back, the same chair with bad stains to the upholstery, another chair with a repair to the left finial of the back, another chair with a repair to the right finial of the back, one carver has a repair to the top of the right arm leading up to the finial of the back, all chairs have scratches, knocks, stains and old gouges throughout, all have signs of old woodworm, all structurally sound, overall god condition
