British School, 19th Century- View of a house by a bridge; watercolour, 25.8 x 39.1 cm. Condition Report: Sheet appears to be laid down on card. Some minor cockling to the sheet. A small loss to the edge of the sheet, bottom, lower right. A further small loss on the lower right edge, and a potential small tear above it. Further small losses and tears to the other edges of the sheet. A dark mark to the top edge. Evidence of potential water damage to the edges of the sheet. Some fading, in particular to the large tree on the right hand side. Potential abrasion to the area to the left of the tree, and further potential abrasions to the upper left clouds. A small white mark above the bridge on the middle left. Browning to the sheet. Minor foxing. Not examined out of frame. Overall in poor to fair condition.
