Apanion pair of Chinese blue and white porcelain vases of broad meiping form with deep cobalt blue underglaze, depicting warriors with battle flags raised and figures in a courtyard, Kangxi period, one with blue double ring underglaze on reverse, mounted with later carved rosewood lids; 13"H and 14"H w/ lids; Condition: No conditions were observed under UV. One vase does show an approximate 3 inch firing hairline underglaze, as well as two small chips around its foot. Both vases show various firing flaws/pitting to glaze in the white ground,mensurate with age. No other conditions observed.
