AN OPENWORK JADE COURT HAT FINIAL, YUAN TO MING DYNASTY
China, 1279-1644. Densely carved and pierced with three egrets strutting amid a network of entwined lotus stems bearing blossoms, furling leaves, and pods, each element meticulously carved in the round and neatly incised with fine details. The translucent stone of a pale celadon tone with gray shadings as well as scattered dark and russet inclusions. The slightly concave base pierced with four apertures for mounting.

: English trade.

Condition
: Good condition with expected old wear and some nibbling here and there. The stone with natural inclusions and fissures, some of which have developed into small hairline cracks. Remnants of old varnish, mostly to the inner sections of the carving.

元至明鏤空玉雕帽頂珠

中國，1279-1644年。鏤空雕刻三隻白鷺，在交錯荷葉之間悠閑戲耍，荷花盛開，蓮蓬高聳，精心圓雕，細節精緻。半透明的淺青色玉，帶有灰色斑紋以及分散的深色和黃褐色內沁。略凹的底座上有四個孔可用於固定。

狀況良好，有磨損、刻痕，玉石帶有天然内沁和裂隙，有的已發展成細小的裂紋。内部有清漆殘留。
