A WHITE JADE FIGURE OF A PHOENIX, 18TH-19TH CENTURY
China. Well carved in openwork as a long-tailed bird with a lingzhi sprig in its beak perched atop a pierced craggy rock, the bird well detailed with round eyes as well as neatly incised wings, tail feathers, and crest. The translucent stone of a white color with faint hues of pale gray, cloudy inclusions, dark specks, and a small area of russet skin at the base.

Excellent condition with minor wear, natural inclusions, and microscopic nicks.

十八至十九世紀白玉鳳啣靈芝

中國。精美鏤雕一隻長尾鳳凰，嘴裡啣著一根靈芝，立在山石上，鳳凰眼睛活靈活現，翅膀、尾羽和羽冠的細節細緻入微。半透明的白色玉料，帶有淺灰色絮狀物，深色斑點，底部有一小塊赤褐色玉皮。
