本品以带眼端石雕造，色黝黑而凝润。整作天然竹节样式，干粗苍劲，风气高古。砚背覆手平滑，竹节共三段，上段雕知足常乐图，“蜘蛛”谐音“知足”，砚池深凹，砚堂一侧带石眼。
