a) Amulet of the Crown of Lower Egypt, known as the Deshret Crown or Red Crown, consisting of a cylindrical headpiece with raised tip on the reverse and long curled appendage at the front.

b) Amulet of the Crown of Upper Egypt, known as the Hedjet Crown or White Crown. The Crowns of Upper and Lower Egypt represented royal power and conferred royal status on the deceased. Both amulets are pierced for suspension.
