鸡血石，是辰砂条带的地开石，因鲜红色似鸡血的辰砂（朱砂）而得名。鸡血石同寿山石、青田石、巴林石并列，享有中国“四大国石”的美称。主要用作为印章或是工艺雕刻品材料。鸡血石为中国印文化的发展作出了独特的贡献，同时在玉雕工艺中形成了“鸡血”雕独特流派，其作品以“瑰丽、精巧、高雅、多姿”著称。
