潘受（1911.1.26—1999.2.23），原名潘国渠，福建南安人，生于1911年1月26日。1930年19岁南渡新加坡，初任《叻报》编辑，1934年起执教于华侨中学、道南学校及马来亚麻坡中华中学，及任道南学校校长6年（1935～1940）。他自己并没有受过正统大学教育。1955年南大校长林语堂离校，受委出任大学秘书长，渡过一段没有校长主持校务的最艰苦的4年，直至1959年第一批437名学生毕业，才辞去职务。
