弘涛，著名学者、书法家。1954年10月1日出生于山东掖县。国家一级美术师、中央党校特聘教授、国防大学特聘教授、中国书法研究院研究员、世界艺术大会中国代表、世界艺术家联合会副秘书长，早年在国家机关工作时便追随著名学者周祖谟、肖彰、陆宗达、大康等诸多名家进行学习。为北京舞蹈学院所作书法“舞”，被该院印在舞蹈服上而广为流传。1988年以来成为专业书法理论研究者，出版有《弘涛书法集》、《中国书法构图艺术》等著作。
