A Chinese Scroll Painting by Zou Yi Gui Wide:420cm Height:32.5cmZou Yigui (1688-1772） was a Qing Dynasty official and painter.Ziyuan Bao, also known as Xiaoshan, also known as Rangqing, later known as Erzhi Old Man, born in Wuxi, Jiangsu.In the fifth year of the Yongzheng reign, he became the first jinshi in the second class and was appointed as a compiler by the Hanlin Academy.I served as the Governor of Yunnan Province, the Scholar of Guizhou Province, the Shao Qing of Taichang Temple, the Qing of Dali Temple, and the Minister of Rites.I also served as a Cabinet Bachelor.Proficient in painting flowers, following Yun Shouping's painting techniques, with a delicate style.He once wrote "Hundred Flowers Scroll".Once each kind of poem was submitted, the emperor also gave 100 pieces of quatrains, and wrote one volume for each laurel.The book was written before each kind of poem, and was hidden at home.Author of "Xiaoshan Painting Manual" and "Da Ya Continuation"
