刀身制作精细，开有一道凹槽，带有锻造痕迹。银质鎏金的柄首如凤冠一般，其上镂雕有瑞草纹饰。握柄亦为银质，素面光滑，近护手处以孔雀石及玛瑙镶嵌为花朵造型。银质护手四周起滚边，雕刻卷云纹饰，正面鎏金，并以孔雀石点缀。刀鞘为银制，鞘装三段鎏金，以捶揲及錾刻工艺，制作出夔龙及卷云纹饰。刀鞘上亦以孔雀石及玛瑙镶嵌为花朵造型，展现了极高的艺术水平。全长37厘米。
