本品种碗为清宫传统官窑样式，与此品种相纺的还有纯青花一品种，即开窗内以青花代替矾红;本品釉色微微闪青，其上以青花绘饰纹样，缠枝莲环绕四周，并托以三多纹样，三多纹一般多以佛手、桃子和石榴组成，源出”华封三祝”故事，为传统吉祥图案，寓意:多福、多寿、多子，开窗处矶红为四等分书写的“吉祥如意”四字。而此碗甚为特殊之处在于其底款，矾红书以“敬制”二字，据底款而考，应为皇家寺庙定烧之器物。
