A Porcelain Blue and White Figure Dish ( 28.8 x 4.9cm) British collector Donald Ratcliffe practiced medicine in China from 1905 to 1911, and therefore enjoyed collecting Chinese antiques.The dish finely potted of shallow rounded form, rising gently from the short neatly cut footring to the  rim, the interior crisply moulded in relief with a chi dragon in the central medallion amid cloud scroll enclosed by a delicatedly executed peony scroll
