He was from Meixian, Guangdong. A prominent figure in China's modern art scene, Lin Fengmian was an influential painter and art educator. His major artworks include "Herons," "Drunkenness in Berlin," "After the Storm," and "Exploration." His significant publications include "New Theories on Chinese Painting" and "The Collection of Lin Fengmian's Paintings."
