瓶尺寸颇大，器形修长优雅，比例匀称秀美，蓝釉色泽鲜亮明艳。如同许多雍正朝烧造的单色釉器，本品造型蕴含摹古韵味。蒜头瓶近口沿处圆鼓如蒜，属历代官瓷造型中较为突出者，盛行于明清二代。清代御窑所造瓷瓶多为陈设器或花器，蒜头瓶口多微敛，适合插饰单枝花卉或繁果枝条。瓶口蒜头造型来源未明，但此形应取材高古青铜壶，其壶口亦类同蒜头形
