此杯为和田白玉所制，选玉精炼考究，玉质细腻油润，色泽醇厚内敛，润如凝脂。随形雕琢玉兰花，以枝干盘曲为足，花蕊贴于杯壁，或含苞，或绽放，一任自然。玉兰花以其清丽优雅的造型为世人喜爱，诗人屈原的《离骚》中就有“朝饮木兰之坠露兮，夕餐菊之落英”的佳句，以示其高洁的品格。
