傅抱石（1904年10月5日—1965年9月29日），原名长生、瑞麟，号抱石斋主人，生于江西南昌，祖籍江西新余。他是现代画家，以“新山水画”代表画家的身份著称。傅抱石早年留学日本，回国后曾在中央大学任教，并在1949年后担任南京师范学院教授、江苏国画院院长等职务。他的画作以山水为主，中年时期创出了独特的“抱石皴”技法，笔致放逸，气势豪放，尤其擅长描绘泉瀑雨雾之景。晚年，傅抱石多作大幅作品，气魄雄健，具有强烈的时代感。他的人物画多以仕女、高士为题材，形象高古。
