此器座红木制成，光亮润泽，木质细腻。圆形座面掏膛匀净，攒框装面板，坐器物于其上，起稳固拦边之用。座面以嵌银工艺绘龙纹，龙身姿矫健，细部刻画精致，颇富动感。座面外壁一周则以粗细相等的银丝，绘回纹装饰。座面下有束腰，打磨光素平整。
