墩面径、底径相若，器身长圆，呈鼓形，有四云头形镂空装饰。墩面为紫地轧道粉彩装饰，其中心为天蓝地斗彩装饰。器身大面积的荷莲纹为蓝地斗彩加绘粉彩，釉上填矾红、绿、蓝、白、紫、青花等彩料。上下各有一周紫地金彩鼓钉。 绣墩盛行于明清两代。此绣墩为乾隆时的代表作品，制作精美，应用了多种彩饰工艺，而层次分明，使绣墩端庄古朴的造型透出几分俏丽的情调。色地上以斗彩进行装饰本已艳丽，此器又增加了轧道粉彩工艺，愈显奢华。
