|以大块青玉圆雕而成，体量颇大，玉质润泽，有少许黄褐色沁，包浆自然温润。|鹿呈卧姿，四足收于身下，目视前方，五官雕琢精细，但通体纹样简约，仅雕琢其肌理感。|体现清代中期良玉不琢之理念。整器器形硕大。|浑厚质朴，放犷有势，霸气威严，庄重典雅又富吉祥意趣。|传说千年为苍鹿，二千年为玄鹿。|故鹿乃长寿之仙兽。|鹿字又与三吉星：『福、禄、寿』中的禄字同音，因此它亦常用来表示高官厚禄和繁荣昌盛之吉意。
