|和田白玉玉质，质地细腻温润，抛光精到，包浆醇厚。此鼎为仿古造型，带盖，盖呈倒斗状，顶部设长方形钮。盖与器身出戟，双耳，耳作柔带状，与鼎身的刚硬互相呼应，直腹，下承四足。纹饰繁美，正面饰以饕餮纹，纹饰抽象，繁而不乱，古韵盎然。以玉仿古青铜器时，对于雕琢工艺、结构设计的要求是相当高的，否则不但无法复制青铜器的大气严谨，反而会使玉器本身显得厚重无神。此鼎无论是雕工，结构都可谓一流。
