题识：（文略）西山写于挹爽轩。||钤印：陇西布衣 |说明：李笏，又名传笏，字紫纡，号西山，别号海巫山民。江苏常熟人。早年举秀才，后无意仕途，专事绘画。善画花卉翎毛草虫果品。得名画家沙山春真传。工诗文，作画自题咏。时常熟画家学其风格者众多，成“西山派”他曾参与创建“逍遥游”园林，以此为当时文人会文作画和游憩场所。其著名弟子陆抑非、王同石辑有《西山画中诗稿》二卷，共著录诗百余首。参见《常熟文史》。||备注：原装旧裱
