|提要：此拍品为钱鼎铅笔速写稿四页，上有“鼎”或“铸九”落款。钱鼎，字铸九，号淡人。江苏青浦（今上海）人。幼于学塾习丹青，后入新学堂。业满，执教鹤溪小学。民国6年（1917年），入上海美专，毕业后留任教职。民国11年起，历任国立女师大、北平中华美术学院、辽宁美专、北平国立艺术学院等校讲师、教授。画宗西法兼纳中法，融合西画色彩性与国画水墨性，风格独特。擅长风景、花卉，尤善绘松。出版有《钱鼎国画》、《钱鼎铅笔速写》等画集。
