Of ovoid body with broad shoulders rising to a short neck with canted rim, covered with a glossy black-brown glaze, thinning to a caramel-brown at the rim and liberally applied with russet splashes, the glaze stopping neatly above the unglazed foot to reveal the gray stoneware body, 7.1 inch high.
