提要：是书原装原函，比刻本更早行世，但流传稀见，颇为稀见，识者宝之。金和(1818～1885)晚清诗人。字弓叔，号亚匏，江苏上元(今南京市)人，诸生。因亲身经历了鸦片战争和太平天国起义，其诗大多反映这些历史事变。诗多长篇，具有散文化的特点。梁启超《清代学术概论》以金和与黄遵宪、康有为并举，誉为“元气淋漓，卓然称大家”。著有《秋蟪吟馆诗钞》等。
