A glass intaglio profile male bust of possibly Hadrian, with wreath to the brow, set into a later hollow-formed gold ring comprising a D-shaped round-section hoop with beaded collars to the shoulders, scooped octagonal bezel. Cf. Chadour, A.B. Rings. The Alice and Louis Koch Collection, volume I, Leeds, 1994, item 111. 9.84 grams, 29.64mm overall, 20.31x19.98mm internal diameter (approximate size British U, USA 10 1/4, Europe 22.83, Japan 22) (1 1/4").
