4th-5th century AD. A silver finger ring comprising a D-section hoop and flared square-section bezel with gilt panel, intaglio equal-arm cross between letters 'A??N'. Cf. Chadour, A.B. Rings. The Alice and Louis Koch Collection, volume I, Leeds, 1994, item 4561 for type. 15.40 grams, 27.23mm, 17.99mm internal diameter (approximate size British N 1/2, USA 6 3/4, Europe 14.35, Japan 13) (1").
