4th-6th century AD. A green glass bell-shaped cup with teardrop facets to the body and discoid to the underside and base. Cf. Fukai, S. Persian Glass, New York, 1977, p.29, plates 14-15; according to Fukai, oval facets were usually cut with spaces, unlike circular facets which were cut adjoining one another, for similar bowls dated to the 1st-3rd century AD, one with oval facets and one with circular, cf.
