A carved marble idol with stub arms, legs modelled as a single block with median line and triangular apron, slender neck supporting a D-shaped head with low-relief eyes, nose and ears. 124 grams, 13cm (5 1/8"). Property of a London gentleman; previously acquired on the UK art market in the 1990s. Very fine condition, repair to neck.
