Early 6th century AD. A slender silver-gilt bow brooch comprising: a D-shaped headplate with arch of roundels and notched fillet, five radiating D-shaped knops, broad bow with roundels to each edge, footplate with chip-carved lateral panels and median reserved band with punched offset triangles; catchplate and remains of ferrous pin to the reverse.
