17th century AD. A large gold ring comprising a flat-section hoop with incised inscription to the inner face 'I ioy to find a constant minde' with long 's' and extended tail to the 'f' and 's'. Disclaimed by the Crown under treasure reference number 2017T640. Portable Antiquities Scheme report number KENT-CC971A. 4.85 grams, 21mm overall, 19.13mm internal diameter (approximate size British S, USA 9, Europe 20.0, Japan 19) (3/4"). Found near Goudhurst, Kent, UK, 2017; accompanied by a copy of the Portable Antiquities Scheme report number KENT-CC971A. Very fine condition.
