A bronze seal matrix formed as a square panel with D-shaped lobe to each edge, pierced lug handle to the reverse; intaglio beaded border with fleur-de-lys to each quadrant, inscribed band surrounding a heater shield with transverse bands 'barry of four'. 11 grams, 25mm (1"). Property of a Mayfair lady; formerly in an important London collection formed since 1965. Fine condition.
