A ceramic figurine of a reclining lion, head facing forward with jaws slightly open, small round ears, mane detailing to the head and neck, ribs detailed with vertical strokes, hindlegs tucked underneath the body, the tail curving on its back; hollow to the underside; possibly Asian workmanship. 295 grams, 13cm (5"). Property of a London gentleman; acquired before 1970. Fine condition.
