A matrix containing the ribs, paddle digits, ischium and pubis bones of a Leptopterygius tenuirostris from the Lower Lias Clay from Watchet, on the Somerset coast, England. 14.6 kg, 66cm (26"). From an old Lincolnshire collection formed in the 1980s. Leptopterygius tenuirostris is one of the rarer ichthyosaurs from the area around Lyme Regis, Dorset, England. Fine condition.
