A bronze brooch with discoid convex plaque depicting Medusa with flowing hair, snake heads to the top and tails tied below the chin; inlaid silver eyes and brows; hinged pin and catchplate to the reverse. 65 grams, 55mm (1 1/4"). Property of a London collector; acquired on the London market, 1990s-2000s. Very fine condition.
