3rd-4th century AD. A translucent light blue beaker with dimpled base, rounded bottom, slightly convex sides to body and rounded everted rim. See Lightfoot, C.S. Ancient Glass in National Museums Scotland, Edinburgh, 2007, item 203 for type. 34.2 grams, 8cm width (3"). Property of a North London gentleman; previously in a Cambridgeshire, UK, collection. Fine condition.
