An agate plaque with high-relief carving of two hounds(?) on a baseline, one sitting with head reversed and the other attacking from the rear with claws gripping the shoulder and teeth biting the neck. 1.72 grams, 21mm (3/4"). Property of a London gentleman; acquired by his father in the 1970s; thence by descent. Fine condition, repaired.
