3rd century AD. A bronze ring comprising a D-section hoop, flared shoulders, bezel with inset brown jasper cloison, incised voided cross. Cf. Ruseva-Slokoska, L. Roman Jewellery, Sofia, 1991, item 201 for type. 6.87 grams, 19mm overall, 13.06mm internal diameter (approximate size British C 1/2, USA 1 3/4, Europe 1.0, Japan 1) (3/4").
