3rd century AD. A silver finger ring comprising a D-section hoop with stepped shoulders, domed bezel with beaded wire collar, inset jasper cloison with mane in fede clasped hands motif. Cf. Ruseva-Slokoska, L. Roman Jewellery, Sofia, 1991, item 416. 8.38 grams, 25.3mm overall, 18.7mm internal diameter (approximate size British S, USA 9, Europe 20, Japan 19"). (1").
