A fragment of a stone frieze depicting three figures on a stepped base with trees behind, two bare-chested with legs flexed and extended and the third facing behind them; later hole between the trees; mounted on a custom-made stand. 4.3 kg, 28cm including stand (11"). Property of a Middlesex collector; acquired on the London art market before 2000; formerly in an old English collection. Fine condition.
