A carved stone figure of a cross-legged Hindu male in a loincloth seated on a rectangular base with nimbus to the rear; mounted on a custom-made stand. 1.5 kg, 21.5cm including stand (8 1/2"). Property of a Middlesex collector; acquired on the London art market before 2000; formerly in an old English collection. Fine condition.
