A carved limestone(?) bust with carefully dressed hair, topknot above the brow, elongated earlobes with rosette earrings, inlaid haematite(?) and other panels to the brow and collar, mounted on a custom-made stand. 34.6 kg, 72cm including stand (28 1/4"). Property of a Middlesex collector; acquired on the London art market before 2000; formerly in an old English collection. Fine condition.
