此唐卡的风格独特，运用贵重的金、银与各种矿物色彩颜料在布上绘制而成，工艺精细而精美。唐卡源于印度唐代传入我国西藏，明初随着格鲁派的创立有了空前的发展，形成藏传佛教的一大特色，并占有重要的地位。此件主尊绘绿度母像。绿度母为观世音菩萨的化身。全称圣救度佛母。全身绿色，头戴五佛宝冠，慈容满面，上身披天衣，下身着长裙，胸前饰联珠式璎珞，半跏趺坐于莲花宝座上。整幅唐卡构图完整，色彩清新典雅，线条勾画流畅准确，为上品之作。
